Toddlers are busy. They are constantly moving, exploring, and learning about their world. They are growing and changing at a rapid pace. They are leaving the world of babyhood behind them, and entering the world of preschoolers. Their language is blossoming. They know what they want. Toddlers express their personality more than ever. They throw tantrums, make messes, and act out. They also love to snuggle, give hugs, and read books. Toddlers can be so much work, yet so much fun.
As my youngest son is approaching his 3rd birthday, I realize that he is much more a preschooler now, than a toddler. It’s awesome to see him growing and changing, but as we look back at old pictures and activities we’ve done, I can’t help but to get a little weepy.
Recently, we were reminiscing about some of our favorite toddler activities on this site, and decided to compile a list to share with you. If you need some ideas for quick and simple activities to do with toddlers, I’m sure you’ll find some inspiration here.
